A Perilous Journey Begins

Rumors say that the Outlying Provinces have become a foreboding place, but Jessie's determination leads her to set out on a quest to find a brother that she hasn't seen in nearly a year.

 

In her journey, she happens upon a young man named Kevin who wants to hire her to be his bodyguard. While he keeps his own goals a secret, events around them lead Jessie to believe that this is where she is really needed.

Good grief, how many times is the lighting going to change in this chapter? It's driving me insane. It's like each page insists on having some new hurdle for me to stumble over.

 

If you look at the very bottom of the page you'll notice a new little graphic has been added. If you click on it, it will take you to the TopWebComics.com site where you can vote for this comic and bump it up a few notches in the ratings. Most sites give you an incentive for doing this. It always seemed like bribery to me, but I might cook up something in the future.
