A Perilous Journey Begins

Rumors say that the Outlying Provinces have become a foreboding place, but Jessie's determination leads her to set out on a quest to find a brother that she hasn't seen in nearly a year.

 

In her journey, she happens upon a young man named Kevin who wants to hire her to be his bodyguard. While he keeps his own goals a secret, events around them lead Jessie to believe that this is where she is really needed.

Better in My Mind

I must admit that I'm rather disappointed with the way today's page turned out. It just doesn't look as good as I imagined it. Maybe that's just me being the fickle artist, though.

 

In any case, this will likely be the last page until August comes around. I have to order more paper to continue, and I'll be out of town for a bit coming up here soon anyway. Fear not, though. With the exception of the 24th, there should be an Adventurer's Guide update every week until new pages return.

Thought I'd never get today's update up. Stupid Photoshop up and decided that two gigabytes of RAM isn't enough to open a file and refused to rasterize the page. Computers make me want to kill things.
